eps->pict is a DA that lets you convert encapsulated postscript (EPS) files into PICT format. This allows you to paste such a converted picture into Word or WriteNow, for example, and not lose the LaserWriter print quality.
eps->pict sometimes works under MultiFinder, but the clipboard is brain-damaged, and refuses to display the picture in the Finder. Moreover, you may be told that there was not enough memory to complete the conversion under MultiFinder, particularly if the picture is a large or complicated one. (The DA Handler doesn't have much memory allocated, and eps->pict keeps the conversion information in memory, so....) Sorry to say, but my recommendation is to avoid using eps->pict under MultiFinder.
